Situated on the Black Isle,this superior roomy three star self-catering accommodation is 7 miles from Cromarty, 20 from Inverness and 13 from Dingwall. The lodge enjoys spectacular uninterrupted panoramic views of the Cromarty Firth and the Ben Wyvis mountain range.
The local attractions in the historic town of Cromarty include the Courthouse, Hugh Miller’s home and organised Dolphin boat trips. In nearby Fortrose and Rosemarkie are extensive beach facilities, the peninsular for observing dolphins and the Groam House Pictish museum.
There are several good restaurants in the local area and a full range in Inverness and Dingwall. The nearest distillery visitor centres are at Muir of Ord (Glen Ord), Invergordon (Dalmore) and Tain(Glenmorangie), all excellent malt Whiskies.
For golfers, the lodge is an ideal central location with at least 11 quality Highland courses (including the championship courses of Royal Dornoch and Nairn) within a 45 minute drive.
